Invitation and guest access
The host creates an invitation link and PIN. The guest opens the HTTPS page, enters the requested identity information and joins the active session. No separate Glass Desktop Box account is required for the supported guest workflow.
The invitation page, active session and end page are parts of one product experience, but design changes must never remove upload, download, replacement or chat behavior.
Transfers and limits
Browser-based Remote transfer currently supports individual files up to 1 GB. Monthly allowances depend on the host's plan. A direct device-to-device route is attempted first; a compatible relay may carry the data when network conditions prevent direct transfer.

When an upload or download fails
Common causes include an ended session, insufficient transfer reservation, a size or plan limit, a locked file, interrupted connectivity or an unavailable host. The interface should retain the affected item in upload history and explain the failure without exposing raw implementation errors as the only guidance.

Yes. Browser-based collaboration and P2P transfers are included in Starter and Starter Plus. The plans differ in included monthly transfer volume; ProBox workspaces require an appropriate ProBox plan.
What does peer-to-peer file transfer mean?
Peer-to-peer transfer is designed to send data directly between participating devices whenever technically possible instead of first storing the file in a permanent cloud folder.
What happens when a direct P2P route is not available?
A compatible relay route may be used to complete the transfer. A relay is a transport fallback, not a permanent user file archive.
What is the maximum file size for a Remote file transfer?
For standard Remote file transfers, the maximum upload size is 1 GB per file.

An upload can fail if the session ended, storage reservation is insufficient, the file is locked, a size or plan limit is exceeded, the connection is interrupted or the host is no longer available. The interface should identify the affected item and provide a useful reason instead of only showing a technical code.
